Don't be trippin'!

Hey, yo. I figured I might as well start this if I'm aspiring to travel many times one day. The title's not original, I know, but like my Lit. teacher said, everything original's been done anyway. Thanks, Mr. Hattori.

About the hermit part... in terms of where I want to be in life, I consider myself a hermit, because there's so much more I've yet to learn in life and about the world, and yet I stay hidden under a rock. I have this need deep down to rectify that, thus I shall begin to do so by zooming off halfway around the world.

I will be the narrator for the most part, and depending on the availability of technology wherever I am, I might not be able to give a daily detailed account of my trip (which is sucky). But, what is important, is that I learn something from my trips. I might not, but I will pry open my mind if I have to to learn something. I hope this resolve lasts until I come back... or maybe even long after.

Anyway, before I get all moody, why don't we go ahead and begin.

Tonight I shall be boarding an airplane bound for the Philippines. I will be visiting Banaue, famous for rice terraces, for the first leg of my trip and thereafter have some time to visit with my family.

Good luck, Bon Voyage, Au Revoir, Sayonara, Hasta La Vista and happy trippin'!
